The UMH Reading Club continues with the meetings, the last Tuesday of each month, in the UMH Library of the Elche campus, in the Altabix Building, alternating novels in Valencian and Spanish.

This month we have selected «Negrín no cremava esglésies» by J.A. Quesada Coves. Set in Elche in February 1936, the novel portrays a moment of high political tension. Many years later, writer Araceli Candela is commissioned to investigate these turbulent events, delving into her own family history.
