International Open Access Week 2023
The UMH through the Library Service joins the celebration of the International Open Access Week (23-29 October) collaborating in the dissemination of this movement in our institution.
This year’s theme is “Community over commercialisation” and aims to raise awareness of the importance of community control of knowledge-sharing systems.
Thus, the UMH joins the international open access week with the activities programmed by the Library Service, with the following events:
- Dissemination and information on Open Science in the new academic landscape, through the International Open Access Week page of the UMH Library Blog, RediUMH , and through the Social Networks of the Library Service. Infographics, etc… will be advertised.
- The Library launches the form “Solve your question about open access…”, clicking on the link opens a menu of open access topic suggestions to select a particular aspect or topic. The library will solve the doubts and inform, within 24 hours, our university community, about the selected subject: Transformative agreements and current status, Key documents in Open Access, Advantages of Open Access for the researcher, Open Educational Resources, etc.
- Dissemination : conference organised by REBIUN (network of University libraries)
