The main developments regarding the call for applications for the evaluation of research activity (six-year period) have been published, with differentiated information according to the type of personnel and the deadlines for submitting applications.

This call establishes two different submission periods:

• Civil servants: from 9 to 30 January 2026.
• Contract staff: from 9 February to 2 March 2026.

The call for civil servants was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on 19 December. The evaluation criteria, which will apply to both civil servants and contract staff, were also published in the BOE on the same date.

With regard to contracted staff, the Vice-Chancellor’s Office will publish the corresponding calls for applications in January, detailing the contractual positions that can be evaluated by ANECA-CNEAI and AVAP.
