The UMH Reading Club continues with the meetings, the last Tuesday of each month, in the UMH Library of the Elche campus, in the Altabix Building, alternating novels in Valencian and Spanish.

This month we have selected “Oposición” by Sara Mesa. The story of a young woman who starts working in a public office and discovers an absurd world, full of meaningless rules and empty routine. Through her eyes, the author criticizes bureaucracy and the alienation of modern work.
