The UMH Reading Club will begin its meetings on Tuesday, 30 September, at the UMH Library on the Elche campus, in the Altabix Building.

This month, we have selected José Saramago’s Ensayo sobre la ceguera. In this work, a city is devastated by an epidemic of white blindness that reveals the fragility of society. Those infected are isolated in miserable conditions, bringing out the worst and the best in human beings.
