The National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI) has approved the criteria for the evaluation of research activity for the 2024 call. These criteria, which will be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), have already been disseminated to facilitate the early preparation of applications. Finally, to ensure transparency and uniformity, ANECA has published a single scale that will be applied by the fifteen Advisory Committees.

Among the notable changes, the ‘indicative minimums’ section has been eliminated, allowing a positive assessment to be obtained by five contributions that meet the general criteria, without relying on quantitative indicators related to means of dissemination. This reinforces the focus on the intrinsic quality of the inputs.
