The UMH Book Club continues to hold meetings; our next meeting is on November 24 at the UMH Library on the Elche campus, in the Altabix Building.

This month we have selected “La meitat de l’ànima” by Carme Riera, winner of the 2003 Sant Jordi Prize for Fiction. This suspenseful novel tells the story of a writer who receives a folder full of letters from a stranger that will call into question everything she thought she knew about her family. It is a story about identity, memory, and the limits of truth.
