The UMH Reading Club continues to hold its meetings; our next session is on 26 May at the UMH Library on the Elche campus, in the Altabix Building.

This month we have chosen “Aquí baix” by Laia Viñas. This novel depicts the Ruta del Bakalao of the 1990s through the eyes of a group of friends who travel to the nightclubs of Valencia every weekend. The novel explores friendship, the dizzying experience of growing up, and the sense of living through an era that is coming to an end.
