The Library is pleased to announce the availability of UpToDate Expert AI, UpToDate’s new experience powered by generative artificial intelligence, to the university community. UpToDate Expert AI enables users to make clinical enquiries in natural language and receive personalised responses quickly, based on UpToDate’s evidence-based clinical content. The responses generated by the tool have been reviewed by medical experts.

How do I access UpToDate Expert AI?

To use this new feature, you need to have a personal UpToDate account and log in with it. You can access it from the UpToDate homepage. Once logged in, select Expert AI, located below the search bar. Queries can be made in the user’s preferred language, and the answers will be displayed in that same language. If you do not yet have a personal UpToDate account, you can register to access this feature.

Training on UpToDate Expert AI

To gain a better understanding of what UpToDate has to offer and to learn how to use Expert AI, a number of online sessions have been organised under the title «Cómo sacar el máximo partido de UpToDate y de UpToDate Expert AI».
