The Library presents the UMH’s new Research Portal – Dialnet CRIS
14 September 2026

The UMH Research Portal – Dialnet CRIS – was officially launched today, 14 September, via the UMH Research Committee. This new tool will improve the management, organisation and visibility of the University’s research activity.
The Research Portal facilitates the centralisation of research staff’s academic output, bringing together information on publications, books, conferences, theses and other research outputs. The aim is to make it easier to update researchers’ profiles.
The new portal will also help to raise the profile of research carried out at the UMH, facilitating access to the profiles and areas of research of research staff and fostering new opportunities for collaboration.
Furthermore, the platform will provide structured curriculum vitae information that may prove useful in various processes relating to the evaluation, accreditation and management of research activity.
The Library will soon be organising a series of training sessions to explain how Dialnet CRIS works and how to manage author profiles. These sessions will be offered both online and in person across the University’s four campuses.
This new portal is the result of a joint effort by the Library, IT Services and the Deputy Vice-Chancellors for Research at the UMH, whose collaboration has been essential in making the launch of this tool possible.
