On the centenary of her birth (1925 – 2025), the UMH Library of Orihuela-Salesas pays tribute to Ana María Matute, one of the most unique and moving voices of Spanish literature of the twentieth century. Academic of the RAE, narrator of childhood, the post-war period and the fantastic, her work is a bridge between the harshness of reality and the magic of stories.
