The UMH welcomes young people from Elche Acoge for a Day of Learning and Innovation
7 July 2026
Last Monday, the young people from the Elche Acoge Association’s Summer School visited Miguel Hernández University to enjoy a day dedicated to technology, learning, and values education.
This activity was made possible by a joint initiative of the Library Services and the Innovation and Technology Planning departments, through the Office of the Vice Rector for Research and Technology Transfer, and it introduced participants to the world of artificial intelligence in a practical and interactive way. Throughout the workshop, attendees explored the possibilities offered by this technology while reflecting on its ethical, responsible, and creative use.
Through this activity, the UMH reinforces its commitment to the dissemination of knowledge and social inclusion, helping children and young people gain access to digital tools and skills relevant to their education.
The day concluded with a screening of the film “Inside Out,” a film designed to encourage reflection on emotions and reinforce values such as empathy, coexistence, and respect.
