EBSCO is organising the training session ‘SportDiscus: fuentes de investigación sobre ciencias de la actividad física y el deporte’, aimed at students, teachers, researchers, librarians and anyone interested in learning how to use this specialised database.
This basic 45-minute training session is aimed at those who wish to take their first steps in the SportDiscus databases, a key tool for consulting scientific literature in the field of Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
The session will cover the following topics: basic and advanced searches, searches by subject, publication management and alert creation, results analysis and the main options of the EBSCOhost interface. Guidelines will also be provided on how to optimise search strategies and efficiently access relevant and up-to-date scientific information.
