Implementación práctica de los principios y compromisos de CoARA en ANECA, by Pilar Paneque, Director of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA)
ANECA is actively involved in transforming research and academic career assessment within the framework of the CoARA (Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment) agreement. This coalition, whose common goal is to reform the methods and processes used to evaluate research, is made up of more than 700 organisations, including universities, research centres, institutes, professional associations, public and private research funders, public and private accreditation and evaluation agencies, scientific societies, etc. This initiative represents a paradigm shift in the evaluation of science to maximise research quality and good scientific practice.
