Last Friday we received at the UMH Library the students of the intellectual enrichment program Stimulate your Mind, within the Women and Girls in Science Days.

A visit of primary school students full of curiosity and eager to learn, in which they discovered how the library is organized and classified by subject, which allowed them to better understand the structure of the library and how to find the books that interest them. In addition, they explored the resources of the BIBac project, an initiative that promotes accessibility in libraries, and enjoyed a careful selection of books starring prominent women scientists, thus getting closer to inspiring figures in the world of science and research.

It was an enriching day, in which they not only learned about how the library works, but also awakened their interest in knowledge, inclusion and the fundamental role of women in science.
