The BiblioLab Creativo UMH space at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Altea will host on 22, 23 and 24 July the I IRT SUB-1800 CIUDAD DE ALTEA (International Rating Tournament), organised by the Talaia Chess Club of Altea with the collaboration of the Miguel Hernández University and the Sports Department of the Altea Town Hall.

The I INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT CITY OF ALTEA is included in the calendar of activities of the Chess Federation of the Valencian Community (FACV) and the International Chess Federation (FIDE). The tournament will start at 16.00 h on the 22nd and will take place over three days in 6 rounds using the Swiss system. Registration is open and players from different chess clubs in the area are expected to participate.

The game room will be located on the first floor of the Library of the Faculty of Altea, specifically, in the BiblioLab Creativo UMH space, a meeting place for the university community in which actions that promote interaction with the environment of our university are carried out.

The I INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT CITY OF ALTEA, in which our university and the Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea collaborate with the Talaia Chess Club of Altea, is one of these cultural and sporting actions that BiblioLab Creativo UMH proposes for the summer evenings in Altea.
