This month, we have selected Jos\u00e9 Saramago’s Ensayo sobre la ceguera<\/strong>. In this work, a city is devastated by an epidemic of white blindness that reveals the fragility of society. Those infected are isolated in miserable conditions, bringing out the worst and the best in human beings.<\/p>\n
