On the occasion of International Women’s Day<\/strong>, the UMH Library<\/strong> has prepared a careful selection of novels, essays and films that address issues related to the struggle for gender equality, female empowerment and the role of women in society.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This collection, designed to encourage reflection and knowledge, includes titles by well-known female authors, as well as works that have marked milestones in the history of feminism. Among the selected books are essays<\/strong> that explore the impact of women in different fields, as well as novels<\/strong> that give voice to diverse female experiences. In addition, the library offers a variety of films<\/strong> that portray inspiring stories of women who have challenged norms and made their mark on history. As part of this initiative, the UMH Reading Club<\/strong> has selected for this month the novel L’\u00faltim patriarca<\/em><\/strong> by Najat El Hachmi<\/strong>. This work, winner of the Ram\u00f3n Llull Prize, tells the story of a young Moroccan man raised in Catalonia and his relationship with his family, exploring themes such as patriarchy, identity and women’s struggle for autonomy.
