The UMH must be an increasingly sustainable place, in which it actively works to respect the environment, which is reflected in its Environmental Policy<\/a>. In the constant search for a more committed and environmentally friendly university environment, the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche has implemented since 2009 the \u201cEnvironmental Objectives Program<\/strong>\u201d among the Services.<\/p>\n The UMH Library is committed to promoting the Sustainable Development Goals <\/strong><\/a>as part of the 2030 Agenda by committing to the following goals linked to our service, carrying out the following actions linked to them.<\/p>\n Goal 3<\/a> Good Health and Well-being <\/strong><\/p>\n The library has a wide and varied collection specialising in Health Sciences, offering support services for research and training, as well as regularly publishing news related to this field on its social networks. This contributes to positioning the Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University as one of the Spanish universities with the greatest impact on health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n Goal 4<\/a> Quality Education<\/strong><\/p>\n The Library provides the resources<\/a>, <\/strong>training<\/a> and services<\/a> necessary to achieve this goal.<\/p>\n Goal 5<\/a> Gender Equality<\/strong><\/p>\n The Library has a section of books on Gender Studies and supports the dissemination of actions such as The Weight of Thought<\/a>, with the aim of giving visibility to gender inequality.<\/p>\n
