This data can be grouped in a variety of ways (by subject area, university, journal, etc.), and is published on the portal using traditional metrics whilst exploring different ways of presenting the information.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">At the <strong>UMH Library\u2019s Dialnet Service<\/strong>, we extract data from the journals published by the UMH and compile all the bibliographic references appearing in the articles they contain.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dialnet.unirioja.es\/metricas\/idr\">IDR:<\/a> It is a tool that enables us to assess a journal\u2019s scientific impact, its development, and its standing in relation to other journals in the field. The fact that Dialnet contains the content of virtually all scientific journals published in Spain facilitates the availability of a product with a high level of objectivity. We aim to cover all Spanish scientific journals in every discipline, including those published by academic institutions and commercial publishers, those that are open access and those accessible by subscription.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dialnet.unirioja.es\/metricas\/indicadores\">Dialnet Indicators:<\/a> It provides a wealth of information, going beyond what we can find when evaluating the journals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;text-align: justify\">All journal references included in the Dialnet database are taken into account as a whole, regardless of their subject area, country of publication, language, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;text-align: justify\">This situation means that journals do not have exactly the same data in one section as in another. On the other hand, in Indicadores Dialnet it is possible to attribute citations received by documents to their authors, to count citations received by other types of documents such as books, chapters or theses, and to construct other indicators relating to researchers, fields of knowledge, etc.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dialnet.unirioja.es\/institucion\/416\/editor\">Books and anthologies<\/a>: Monographs published in Spain or in the Ibero-American region will be indexed. Books published in other countries may also be indexed, provided that at least one of their authors is a Spanish researcher from the Ibero-American region.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;text-align: justify\">If you are a user of the UMH Library, a Dialnet partner, please send your enquiry to <a href=\"mailto:y.villar@umh.es\">y.villar@umh.es<\/a>, where they will be able to advise you on the possibility of including your publications.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dialnet.unirioja.es\/tesis\/institucion\/819065\">Doctoral theses<\/a>: Doctoral theses in which the author or supervisor is a researcher from Spain or the Ibero-American region will be indexed. Other types of theses, dissertations and academic papers that are not doctoral theses cannot be included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;text-align: justify\">If you would like your doctoral thesis to be indexed and your institution is affiliated with Dialnet, you will need to contact your library and let them know that you would like your thesis to be indexed in Dialnet.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>We have created <a href=\"https:\/\/soporte.dialnet.unirioja.es\/portal\/es\/kb\/articles\/el-autor-en-dialnet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">author pages<\/a> for all UMH lecturers. All Dialnet authors have a unique identifier (Dialnet author code) and their own author page, which brings together all the information about them available on Dialnet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;text-align: justify\">When you <strong>click on an author<\/strong>\u2019s name from any page on Dialnet, you will be taken to their author page, where, in addition to their works, you will find information on:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Organisation to which they belong<\/li>\n<li>Subject areas<\/li>\n<li>The author&#8217;s websites<\/li>\n<li>Other databases in which it appears<\/li>\n<li>Publication period as recorded in Dialnet<\/li>\n<li>Academic tree<\/li>\n<li>Co-authorship cloud<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;text-align: justify\">Under no circumstances is this a page that provides an exhaustive overview of the author\u2019s academic output.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nAt the UMH Library\u2019s Dialnet Service, we are contributing to the new edition of Dialnet M\u00e9tricas, which is the result of a collaborative project between libraries aimed at including bibliographic references for journal articles available on Dialnet.<br \/>\nThis enables us to obtain citations for documents and authors.
